Good quality, minor hiccup with setup

Anyone else try the KyeBriq ApplePie Mini? I finally bit the bullet and bought one during their Black Friday sale, got it for about 30% off which was nice since you can usually only use one discount code. The adapter itself is great, super fast and makes CarPlay wireless in my older car. My only small gripe is the instructions were a little vague and it took me a bit longer than expected to get it fully configured, but once it was running, no issues. Shipping was quicker than I expected too. Overall, really happy with the upgrade, just wish the setup was a touch more straightforward. 🤔

Pretty cool car upgrade

So I grabbed one of those KyeBriq Wired to Wireless Android Auto Converters, mostly because I was tired of plugging in my phone every time. And yeah, it totally works! My phone connects wirelessly as soon as I start the car. It was super easy to set up, just plugged it in and followed a couple of steps. No more fumbling with cables, which is a huge win. Felt like a good little upgrade for my daily drive.

Detailed look at the KyeBriq Multimedia Video Box

I ordered the KyeBriq Multimedia Video Box after doing some research on car infotainment upgrades. The ordering process on their website was smooth, and I received a confirmation email promptly. Shipping took exactly 6 days to get to my address in Florida. Unboxing revealed a well-packaged unit with clear instructions. Installation was plug-and-play; it connected to my car's USB port without any issues. I was impressed with how quickly it booted up. The interface is intuitive, and I was able to access streaming apps like Netflix and Prime Video instantly. The video quality on my car screen is excellent, and there's no noticeable lag. The only minor observation is that it can get slightly warm after extended use, but nothing concerning. Customer support responded to a pre-purchase compatibility question within a few hours. Solid device for enhancing car entertainment.

Good product, minor shipping issue

I purchased the KyeBriq Android AI Box to upgrade my car's infotainment. The device itself works really well; setup was straightforward and it integrated nicely with my car's display. I've been enjoying having YouTube and Netflix on longer trips. My only small gripe was that shipping took a bit longer than expected, about 9 days to reach me in Arizona, but customer service was helpful when I inquired about the delay. Overall, a solid buy for the features it offers.

Good value for a first-timer

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for a good deal on a car smart box. The KyeBriq Android AI Box had a decent price, especially after I found a small first-order discount. Shipping was free, which was a nice bonus. The box works well, doing everything I expected like streaming and navigation. I think I got good value for my money compared to what I saw elsewhere. It felt like a smart purchase without breaking the bank.

Absolutely love my new adapter!

Got the Wireless CarPlay Adapter and it's amazing! My car's wired CarPlay was always a hassle, but now it connects instantly every time. It just works! Seriously, if you're on the fence, get it. I'm telling all my friends with wired CarPlay about this. So happy with my purchase!

Is KyeBriq a real brand or just another dropshipper? Seems too good to be true for the price.

They're legit. I've had their wireless CarPlay adapter for about 6 months now and it's been rock solid.

They're based out of Hong Kong, I think. Had a small issue with my order once and their support was pretty responsive, so seems like a proper operation to me.

Any active discount codes floating around right now for the Android AI box? Trying to save a few bucks.

S Shane T. 2 months ago
Check their site around the holidays, they always have sales. Or sign up for their newsletter, sometimes they send out a first-order discount.

I think I saw an influencer code recently on YouTube. Might be worth searching 'Kyebriq promo code' there. Usually good for 10-15% off.

How long does shipping usually take to California for these boxes? Need one before a road trip next month.

P Paula 1 month ago
Mine took about a week and a half to get to LA. It wasn't super fast but not crazy long either.

Depends on what shipping option you pick, I guess. I got free shipping and it was maybe 10 days to Sacramento.

Thinking between a KyeBriq box and a Carlinkit one. Anyone got experience with both? What's the main difference?

C Cleo 1 month ago
I had a Carlinkit first then switched to KyeBriq's AI box. KyeBriq feels a bit snappier and has more RAM on the model I got, so multitasking is smoother. Carlinkit was fine for just wireless AA though.

Honestly, they're pretty similar in what they do. KyeBriq often has better specs for the price if you're looking at the Android boxes. For just the wireless dongles, it's probably a toss-up.

Does this thing void your car's warranty? Plugging stuff into the USB port always makes me a little nervous.

P Phil 2 months ago
Nah, it shouldn't. It's just using the existing CarPlay/Android Auto port. It doesn't modify anything in your car's actual system.

I've seen discussions on forums about this for similar devices. General consensus is no, because it's not messing with the ECU or anything. It's just a 'pass-through' essentially.
